Review 7/2/2010
I can not in good conscious recommend this computer repair service.

I had my computed worked on by them on more than one occasion, and only on a single occasion was I satisfied.

Before each time I took my computed in for service, I perform a bench test to trouble shoot it for them.

The 2nd repair I had a virus or Trojan that I did not have the time to repair myself, they sold me a service of "Make New" and in asking what I was going to get for this service, I was told that my entire system would be diagnosed, the virus/Trojan would be removed, and when it was returned to me, 100% repaired and it would then run as if it just came out of the box new.

I was told that the problem was found and repaired, and it was ready to be picked up, but they recommended selling me a new hard drive, telling me that only because it was old, I asked them was there any problems with the hard drive and they told me no, since the service it had no problem what so ever. I explain to them that my hard drive which was a few years old, was new and I had only installed that a year ago, so it has very limited service because even at that time this computer was only used occasionally , being it was only used to store my music. I approved the new hard drive as long as they would slave it so I could use it as a backup drive.

Prior to picking it us, I asked if the older hard drive was slaved, and I was told no, I asked them why, and at that time the double speak began. I was told that my older hard-drive was now the reason I was having problem with my computer, and because of that they believed that is it was slaved it could cause my entire system to crash.

I said excuse me, but did I not pay for the "Make New" service, and also did you not tell me the first time it was ready to be picked up, before the new hard-drive was installed that all of the problems had been corrected, and also that when this older hard-drive was tested it came back working property.

I went on and try to explain to this head tech, and I may not be a computer tech, but before I found myself not having in the time to work on my system myself, that I did build that computer and before hand I made all needed repairs myself, and he went on to doublespeak basically telling me that he was correct and I was nothing but a novice idiot, and knew my system better than I did. To be fair those exact words were not spoken but top me they were implied.

Well they finally performed the work that I requested, but only after making nothing but excuses, and when I brought the computer home I went on to format the older hard drive and I was unable to find any problem with that hard drive what so ever, and my system never crashed because of it, as it was reported and warned about. Due to the many problem I was experiencing at the repair service I was given a $50.00 credit to use at a future service.

The third time I took it in for repair was because the power supply went out, and I would have never taken it back if it was not for the $50., credit. They installed a "new' power supply after telling me they would have to order it and it took a couple of day to get it back, I have no problem until about one month afterward when the power supply again went out.

After the "new" power supply went out I email them with my diagnoses, at which time they tried to defend themselves telling me that since there has been a power outage in my area , that that must have been the cause of the power supply failure, and I tried to explain to them that after the power outage I performed the typical thing we would do after ward, but unplugging the power supply for the home power source and allow it to reset, and it still did not recover, and they agreed to have me bring it back in to have them looked at it, warning me if they discover it to be another problem the would have to charge me for the service.

I will give them credit that they honored the warranty, and replace the power supply at no charge to me. But surprisingly they had that new power supply in stock, and within hours I was told it was ready to be picked up, which made me feel good and that maybe I could begin to trust them, but the worst possible offense occurred afterward.

Once I got the compute home I hooked it up and ran a simple bench test do to the many problems I have had with them, just to discover within the first 2 minute that there was a problem. My system is set up that at each time it powers up the system runs a complete diagnoses. As it began to load I got 2 prompt/alert telling me that the floppy drive was not found and or was not working, one audio and the other by text, and the only way you can proceed to move forward to the home screen was to bypass the problem by pushing F1, which I did, Once the system was loaded I tested all drives and I did indeed discovered that I no longer had a floppy drive.

I email them explained to them what I found, and told them that most likely it was a simple error and that I would crack the tower case and try and make the repair myself, thinking that they either forgot to plug in the power supply cord into the floppy drive of it was loose.

So the following week end I did just that I open the case and saw that I was indeed correct and the power plug to my floppy drive as not plugged in, so I traced all of the wires from the new power supply just to discover that the install the wrong power supply because there was not power wire to support the floppy drive.

So now I am upset, because there is no way this was a mistake, because as I have already stated, for the tech to power up my computer they would have gotten two prompts/alerts one audio and one text and the only way they could have proceeded was to use F1 to by pass the system to get to the home page.

So I again emailed them back with my finding, and explained to the owner in detail what I discovered, and again I was told to bring it back and they would repair it, but prior to them releasing it to me, she allowed her head technician to explain himself, and he told me that everything I said was correct, but instead of takings blame he said it was all the supplier fault because they sent them a power supply that was the exact match to the one they replace, side stepping my complains how he screwed up, because they by passed the alert and prompts just to get me out of their hair.

I try and explained my view point to the owner, here I am , I complained many time about service and or lack of service, to a point that they may have thought I was nothing more than a pain in the ass, and with just that viewpoint I would think that the would take extra care not to mess things up again, but instead the owner told me that I have been the only customer to ever complain and because of that I was just unlucky. She went on to tell me that she wouldn't except me back as a customer, as if I would ever trust them to do anything what so ever again.

So use them at your own risk, I tried to explain my review in good detail to allow you to decide if you would want to trust them to perform any work on your computer.
