Their customer support is terrible. Most of their replies are automated. My account was banned with no notice. It took 11 help tickets and 25 messages to them over 3 months just to get a response other than, "Your account was found guilty by association. We understand that you want to get your account back and we want to help you, but we can not. We also can not tell you why your account was disabled due to privacy issues". Well, finally I got one of them to tell me why I was disabled. According to them I share a credit card with someone who broke their rules. I do not even own a credit card nor have I ever used one on my account. I told them that, and they changed their story. They said that I was banned because my ip changes too much. Since when was it a crime for your ip address to change? I log in at home / work / school / hotel / public hot spots. Of course my ip is going to change a bunch. These people are ridiculous. You might as well be throwing money into the trash if you are spending it on their site. I made a new account on their site, but from now on I am getting all of my IMVU stuff for free through The IMVU Mafias. Google them, it might be the only secure way of using IMVU without throwing away your money on a scam.
