Review 6/3/2008
My experience at CAM was a good one. Class was great; every one I encountered at the school was personable. Even the President took his own time to go in to the class and talk to all of us with words of encouragement. The Staff at CAM is great; it feels like it's a big happy family. The curriculum was thorough and the scripts work, I mean FLAT OUT WORK. The instructors really took the time to make sure we were all on the same page. I'm happy I chose the automotive industry as a career. Without CAM I would not have been hired at BMW. They gave me all the tools I needed to prepare for success. All the Sales Representatives at the BMW dealership had a minimum of 5 years experience before being considered for the position. Some of them weren't to happy that I walked right in without previous sales experience.
I originally attended CAM with the goal of becoming an F&I Manager; now, however, I have come to find that I like sales so much. I'm debating whether or not I want to get into Finance at all. I love walking people through the process and feeding off their excitement. It’s like I'm making their dream come true by getting them into a vehicle they truly want; after all it's their second biggest investment. I am about to finish my first full month of BMW sales and I love it now. I sold 14 cars in 3 weeks. Some people may think that's luck, but I call it having skills. Out of 18 BMW sales people I am approximately number 2. I do know that I double and triple more car sales than people that have been selling cars for 10 to 20 years so I am really happy now. I like praising myself for my hard work and dedication. I have two shorts stories that I will tell the current students about when I visit. I will say this, one guy told me, "I really like you and I want you to have my money, this is the same deal I got at three other dealerships, but I want you to have my money". I just sold a car to a couple who just had their car for a year and only came in for an oil service, LOL. I can go on about how many compliments customers give me, my co-workers give them to me too (not only management). What makes me the happiest is when customers go out of their way to tell management how great my service was and I am the reason they will buy the car. Thanks CAM.
P.S. Love your Customers!!!
