We'll That Didn't Work
|
Tried to test drive a 2014 Mazda CX-5, their compact SUV last month. I think mine was the first test drive the salesperson had done with the CX-5 because he didn't know the mileage, what the spare was (full or donut), how to get the spare out, the engine type, how the trunk worked or how the seats worked - and that's before we got to the computers and instrumentation. I'm not sure whether the seat was broken before we got to it, or he broke it trying to open it incorrectly, but the effort to check out the seats down trunk space took 20 minutes, soaked all the way through his suit and failed miserably. His final comment: "Well, that's not good." Thanks for that! I'm not sure what the qualifications are for selling cars at Mazda, but knowing the car doesn't seem to be among them.
