Beware of this company!!!
I went to their website through some stupid ad. It showed people winning items in auction style for 60-70% off MSRP. So I joined, thinking that you bid on items like ebay. You have to purchase credits 50, for about $35.
You then use these credits to bid on an item. It's ridiculously stupid, because you don't get a chance to say I would like to pay this much for the item, and others bid against you. Heres the best way to put it: Imagine putting your hand on a dogs paw, it then puts its paw on-top of yours, you then put yours back on-top, and it goes on and on. Well this is how swoopo works. You use your credits one at a time to hold the lead position, the "top paw". But each time someone puts there hand on top, the timer increases by 15 seconds...
It is so ridiculous, impossible to win an auction, its more of a gambling website. I immediately wrote "Vanessa", the only one in customer support, to give me a refund. She was very nice, and responsive at first. She assured me that I had gotten my refund, that on Mar 04 at 8:23:04 AM a refund was sent to my visa card. I checked my visa records and there hasn't yet been a deposit.
I sent her a screen shot of my visa statement from my computer, showing her that there wasn't a deposit from swoopo. And she hasn't responded since.
BEWARE OF SWOOPO.COM DO NOT WAISTE YOUR MONEY
